No, Spanish fascists may not take our Clara Ponsati political prisoner!

Any request by the Spanish fascist police state to send an arrest and extradition request to Scotland to dare to take our beloved Clara Ponsati political prisoner must be rebuffed in the strongest terms by the Crown Office without hesitation.

Lord Were-Wolffe

Lord Were-Wolffe, James Wolffe, Sturgeon’s Lord Advocate

If it is not, if James Wolffe, Alison di Rollo and David Harvie entertain such a request from Spain then they should be sacked by the First Minister, for violating human rights law and for gross incompetence in resisting the fascist abuse of legal process.

If any officer of Police Scotland dares to arrest Clara Ponsati then Susan Deacon and Iain Livingstone should be sacked by the Justice Secretary.

If Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf sit on their hands and do nothing, just allow the officials they have appointed to proceed with any such arrest and extradition attempt then Sturgeon must be dismissed as First Minister by the Scottish Parliament and that will remove Yousaf as Justice Secretary too.

If Sturgeon sacks Wolffe as Lord Advocate but he tries to cling onto office because the Queen won’t rubber stamp Sturgeon’s order then the Queen must be banned from Scotland, the Scottish Parliament calling on any military to enforce the ban.

Try to understand that we are dealing with fascists here and democracy cannot afford to play footsie with fascists.

Fascists need to be nipped in the bud. NOW!

One response to “No, Spanish fascists may not take our Clara Ponsati political prisoner!

  1. Clara Ponsati and Aamer Anwar, Edinburgh, 14/11/19

Thank you to Aamer Anwar for representing our beloved Clara Ponsati so well as Scots have come to expect.

I will leave the legal aspects of defending this case to Aamer who knows more than me about such things.

I want to turn to the political aspects of this case. In particular, my political dissatisfaction about the misbehaviour of the Crown Office and Police Scotland in this matter.

Any request by the Spanish fascist police state to send an arrest and extradition request to Scotland to dare to take our beloved Clara Ponsati political prisoner must be rebuffed in the strongest terms by the Crown Office without hesitation – must be, but was not rebuffed by the Crown Office.

Instead, the managers of the Crown Office – James Wolffe, Alison di Rollo and David Harvie have (again) allowed the Crown Office to entertain such an unacceptable request from Spain.

So in my political opinion, these Crown Office managers should be sacked by the First Minister and the Scottish Parliament, for violating human rights law and for gross incompetence in resisting the fascist abuse of legal process.

Sack Wolffe. Sack di Rollo. Sack Harvie.

Since the Crown were bang out of order, the police should have not touched this with a barge pole. The police should not have arrested Clara Ponsati, nor detained her, nor done anything to her. She is a free citizen of Europe and Scotland as far as I am concerned. If she turned up to a police station of her own volition then the officers should have been polite, maybe said “hello, what can we do for you”, etc. but not detained her in any way.

Instead, the managers of the police – Susan Deacon and Iain Livingstone have allowed officers of Police Scotland to dance to the tune of the dodgy extradition request from the Spanish fascists.

So in my political opinion, these police managers should be dismissed by the Justice Minister.

    Sack Deacon. Sack Livingstone.

Now maybe that’s enough sackings for one day, but I’m not finished.

If Sturgeon and Yousaf sit on their hands and DON’T even try to get the agreement of the Scottish Parliament to sack Wolffe, di Rollo, Harvie, Deacon and Livingstone – whom they appointed but are doing a terrible job – then the Scottish parliament should dismiss Sturgeon as First Minister. Sack Sturgeon.

We don’t need a First Minister who has not got the sense or the bottle to stand up to fascists. Simple as that.

    There you go!
    😀
